Developers integrated with Torus are able to access our integrated FIAT on-ramp providers directly, and initiate top-up transactions directly with a specified provider right from their dApp.
When implemented, users who do not previously own any tokens to conduct transactions no longer have to leave the dApp to purchase their tokens, and can do so directly in the provider’s pop-up window.
Developers can call the API method to initiate the top-up from the dApp. More information on the top-up API can be found on our documentation page.
Currently, Torus is integrated with MoonPay, Wyre, Coindirect. Users are able to top up their Torus Wallet with tokens directly with their preferred provider. Each FIAT on-ramp provider offers its own competitive fee, a set of tokens available, different payment methods, and supports their specific set of countries and regions.
MoonPay lets users buy tokens with credit and debit cards, and supports 40 countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
