Trends We Saw at ETHOnline 2024

• AI integration: With the dawn of the AI age, it was unsurprising to witness multiple projects focus on AI-powered applications, including gaming, trading, and prediction markets.
• Decentralized Finance (DeFi): DeFi remains a dominant theme, with many developers building innovative solutions aimed at optimizing returns, enhancing asset management, and creating more efficient cross-platform integrations. 
• GameFi: GameFi continues to be a strong trend in Web3, with developers creating innovative projects. With the growing popularity of Telegram Mini-Apps (TMAs), developers are finding new ways to bridge Web2 and Web3 gaming experiences, enhancing user engagement and monetization opportunities.
• Cross-chain Solutions: Web3 infrastructure developers' capitalized on the immense potential of account abstraction by building cross-chain solutions for seamless interactions across different blockchains.
• Privacy and Security: The evergreen need for privacy and security means there was no shortage of developers focused on building decentralized identity, medical data, and secure escrow solutions.

Vroombuddy: Crypto-Powered Peace of Mind for Globetrotters

It streamlines the insurance process by utilizing cryptocurrency, offering a modern approach to travel and rental car coverage. This platform utilizes blockchain technology to connect real dart boards to the Ethereum network via a custom iOS application to enable automatic scoring.
