In our latest version update, we integrated Ramp Network to provide our European users with an additional option for buying cryptocurrencies.
With Ramp, users can pay directly from with their Revolut card or from the major bank accounts within the following European countries: United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Buy Cryptocurrencies from Ramp Network in 5 minutes
Buying tokens from Ramp Network can be done within 5 minutes for new users with the following steps. Outside of the promotions, Ramp Network charges users a flat fee of 2.5% per purchase transaction.
To start the buying process within the Torus wallet, simply select Ramp from the Top Up option, and enter the desired amount and currency, and select Continue.
A pop-up window will appear, specifying the amount of tokens to be bought and the corresponding price. The user would then have to confirm their order.
Next, the user would need to provide their email, with which a verification code would be sent to. When logging into Torus with a Google account, the same email account would be automatically filled in.
Once the verification is done, the user’s Torus wallet address would be automatically filled up, and no entry would be needed from the user from this step.
Then the user would need to choose their preferred payment method of either Instant Payment via Automatic E-Payments or SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) Transfers, from their respective country and bank.
The user would need to connect their bank account for KYC purposes, and would subsequently complete the payment via the online banking portal.
Once the payment is successful, the tokens would be issued to the user’s Torus wallet.
