Integrating Torus with OpenSea: The Largest Marketplace for Digital Collectibles

We are proud to announce our latest DApp integration with OpenSea! The biggest ERC721 Non-Fungible Token marketplace on the Ethereum blockchain! Users are able to buy, sell, make bids and auction through over 10 million listed digital collectibles on OpenSea.

Logging into OpenSea

Users who have yet to get their first NFT can head straight to the OpenSea site from the card within the Torus wallet in the Collectibles tab.

There, they can choose to log in with their Torus account.

Once logged in, the user would be able to view all their digital collectibles available from their wallet.

Selling Digital Collectibles and Putting Up Auctions on OpenSea

OpenSea’s collectible marketplace are made out of sales put up by other users. Here, users can choose to put a selling or auction price on the collectible that they own in their wallet.

The user would need to select the existing digital collectible from their wallet, and select the options to put it up for sale.

Subsequent pop-ups would appear requesting the user to sign for their transaction to place the sale or auction on OpenSea, and may need to enable the pop-ups on their browser to do so. Once done, the user will be notified on a successful sale, and the tokens would be transferred directly to the user's wallet!

Buying Digital Collectibles from OpenSea

Users can browse from over 200 categories of digital collectibles from OpenSea. From CryptoKitties, plots of land on Decentraland, to cards from the popular Gods Unchained. Once they have found the item that they wish to purchase, they can either put up a bid on an auction or buy the item from the listed selling price.

Once the user has set up a bid or chose to buy the digital token at a price, they’ll need to sign the subsequent pop-ups, authorizing the transaction. They may need to enable pop-ups within their browser if they find themselves stuck in this process.

Once the transaction has been signed for, the user would be able to see the progress of their transaction, which may take some time for the Ethereum network to process. Once successful, the item would be automatically sent to the user's wallet, with the token price deducted from the wallet.

Users can start trading rare collectibles on OpenSea’s marketplace, and look to complete their online collections or sell the rewards that they’ve earned from the DApps!
