The Torus Team is excited to sponsor and attend the upcoming ETH India 2019 from 2 to 4 August. We will be conducting workshops (Increasing Your DApp Userbase with Torus) to educate DApp developers on how they can increase their userbase, and host API prizes for DApps.
Hackathon Workshop: Increasing Your DApp Userbase with Torus
Our co-founders, Leonard and Zhen will be hosting a workshop at the hackathon to educate developers on increasing user acquisition for DApps, as well as mentoring consultations on integrating Torus with any DApp.
Torus API Prizes
Previously at ETH New York 2019, we were thrilled to award prizes to outstanding teams, several of whom were ETH New York Finalist as well. We have seen some of the teams further develop their builds from ETH New York to produce commercial applications running Torus, one of them being exeDAO.
Our goal at Torus Labs is to bring the decentralised web to mainstream audiences, and we are privileged to be able to support developers whose endeavours are aligned with ours.
This time at ETH India 2019, we will be awarding prizes totalling ₹180,000 to 5 teams that integrate Torus as their login mechanism with the following criteria:
- 1 Grand prize of ₹60,000 in ETH will be awarded to the best DApp that incorporates Torus as the login mechanism.
- 1 Prize of ₹30,000 in ETH will be awarded to the DApp which fulfil an industry need whilst using Torus as the login mechanism.
- 1 Prize of ₹30,000 in ETH will be awarded to the DApp that has the most seamless and intuitive user onboarding whilst using Torus as the login mechanism.
- 1 Prize of ₹30,000 in ETH will be awarded to the DApp that has the best overall user experience with Torus.
- 1 Prize of ₹30,000 in ETH will be awarded to the DApp with the best creative design for implementing Torus.
Integrating Torus is seamless, and developers can either integrate us with a simple javascript tag or an NPM package.
Our team is gearing up to release several updates to our front end at ETH India 2019, and we are anticipating awesome ideas and builds to come out of the hackathon.
