Today, we are all extremely excited to announce that Web3Auth has now acquired Poko Onramp Aggregator.
Despite the bear market, all of us at Web3Auth and our community have been building consistently and going strong. Over the past three months:
- We’ve seen a 2.2x increase in the number of builders joining our platform.
- The number of applications going live has tripled.
- Maintained a robust user base with over 10 million monthly users.
Many of these brands and apps are brands that you love and know, including McDonald’s, Axie Infinity (Ronin Wallet), and Ripple (XRPL). With this acquisition, these builders will soon have access to more than 100 local fiat-to-crypto payment providers.
As we strive to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 applications, fiat-to-crypto is a big part of it which faces more hurdles than ever in regulation and anti-crypto sentiment. Poko Onramp Aggregator allows users to choose local payment providers they’re familiar with, cutting onramp fees by up to 70%, while boosting transaction success rates by as much as 5 times.
We will continue to provide the Poko Onramp Aggregator services under a new name — Web3Auth On-Ramp Aggregator. Current Poko users can access their existing accounts through the mirrored dashboard. New users will be able to onboard themselves onto this dashboard in the coming weeks.
This is going to be a new feature under our upcoming launch of Web3Auth Wallet Services in November that our team has been working very hard on. Having said that, we cannot wait to share more details with the entire ecosytem, really soon!
